Sleepy Boy

Well the Hodges have officially been hit with the sickies. Right now Julia seems to have evaded being sick..but the 3 boys have not. Each have had ear infections, and tummy bugs (Elijah was our most recent who threw up on the night before thanksgiving so we had to cancel all plans) Elijah took a 4 hour nap yesterday! And again today took a nap..he never naps! This is the easiest picture i have ever gotten of him. Ha. He is so handsome, even when he is sleeping. Hopefully we get this over soon and they will be feeling better!

I am still Alive!!

So sorry to be absent so long :( Right now i have 3 with ear infections, you can imagine the sleep i am not getting! We had a harvest fest at our church last month, i thought i would show some photos, my nephews and niece came also..it was soooo fun!!

Meeting Spider Man!

Our Local Mall had a meet and greet with Spidey! We stood in line for an hour and ten minutes just to meet him!

He signed some cards for the boys and was just really nice!

After that we stood in line another 40 minutes for the sticky wall! Elijah loved it! I kinda want one now..look at that, eye contact, direct smile! Surely i can justify this purchase for his therapy room..i am sure his therapist would appreciate it lol

I am still alive blogging world! My USB cord that i would use to down load pics is sadly no longer..but i should be getting a new one this week some time and all will be right in the world once again! So just to stay connected i thought i would do some thing i have been meaning to do for a while, give a holler to a fav product of mine that i actually bought with my own money and use and love. These company's i will promote do not even know i am alive but i want to share what i love with you all!

I decided to pick my E cloth first because i truly love it. Our journey to a more natural life style kinda just happened to us. Elijah with his Autism has many sensitivity's  Fragrances is one of them..and also i wasn't so sure if he would ingest the poisonous chemicals if he some how got a hold of them. So I started to eliminate cleaners about 1 1/2 years ago. A 50/50 mix of water and white vinegar is one of my favorites..its my all purpose cleaner. I use it for allot of things. And its super cheep to boot! A friend of mine knew i was trying to go chemical free as much as possible and told me E cloth was having a sale! I thought why not? They were relatively cheap and so i bought a simple starter set.

All you do is add water and go to the terry like cloth..i use this for dusting..and the window shiner cloth is short of magical! It even cleans better than white vinegar. I use it on all my glass and metal surfaces...its amazing! I use the window cloth dry after i wipe down the mirror or glass or what have you with the terry cloth first. It has silver ions in it so it wont get all nasty and it cleans so well! If you click on the link below it will bring you to the home page and you can research it better there. Independence

I think its very important to teach your children to be independent. Example, Elijah wanted a straw for his drink..i told him to go get one...He was so proud of him self...goof! he makes me laugh..any body want to share a drink with Elijah? he has straws to spare!

Labor Day

I cant believe I for got to post this! We spent Labor day with My husbands family, our kids love playing with each other..Esp Julia and her cousin buddy Jacob...The kids picnicked together...

and played hard the entire day! Its so fun to have best buddy cousins!

the next day ty graduated out of nursery and into Sunday school! This is him shyly knocking on the classroom door. Happy Birthday buddy!!

3 Months Old!!!!

Say it isn't so!!!! My baby is getting so big. 3 months have passed so quick!

My boys matched for church today just for the occasion!

 Asher has been exactly what his name means, happy!

he is even starting to laugh a little!

lets not forget the drama..he still hates the car and being put down when he is tired

he has just discovered his hands and is starting to stick them in his mouth..allot

....but he is mostly happy and easy going...

on our scale at home with Julia holding him he weighs in at 13 1/2 pounds!

when laying on his tummy he holds his head up great! He has even rolled over from back to belly but i think it was an accident! We love him, and enjoy all the fun he adds to the family.
